As a runner, stretching your legs is vital to prevent injury and keep those legs fresh! This is like giving yourself a deep tissue massage. Rolling your legs with a foam roller keeps the muscles and fascia loose.
If there is a subject I know all too well about it is unfortunately, injury (ugh). I am nursing a knee that is giving me a fit and trying to prepare for a half marathon that is next weekend so foam rolling several times a day is vital in my training.
Adding this dynamic stretch with foam rolling will help increase your flexibility and keep your legs loose for that next run.
